It was stated that this was in some small town, but I never really got a feeling for the town at all. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. Richard was probably a great villain because he was one creepy dude. My choices were simple — it could either be a dangerous place, a dangerous event, or a dangerous person. Since I hated Richard from the start I was cheering for Mike. Through out this book I thought that Mike and Julie are perfect for each other. The first, and most obvious question dealt with the cause of the danger. And with those thoughts in mind, I sat down to start writing, thinking the story would be both simple and enjoyable to write.
